We know that if we take a long-term view, take care of our people, create healthy environments that respect the land and foster growth and prosperity in the region, then we will be successful.   We are currently interviewing to add to our team!     Position Summary: Provides assistance with real estate development and acquisitions transactions, and will play a key role with one of our largest capital partners. This position will be exposed to a variety of asset classes: residential, commercial, resort, mixed use and hospitality. Primary focus is Excel-based analysis of potential real estate acquisitions and existing developments, and reviewing due diligence materials on active investments.   Essential Functions:
  1. Assist team members with evaluating and underwriting potential developments and acquisitions.
  2. Perform complex financial analyses, underwriting pro formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
  3. Assist with managing the due diligence process, including the review and analysis of leases, operating information, legal documentation, and other investment-related materials.
  4. Gather and evaluate economic and real estate market data.
  5. Prepare Investment Committee memos and presentations associated with the execution of business plans.
  6. Provide analytical support including development and maintenance of cash flow projection models.
  7. Research and analyze account performance and prepare financial trend reporting including benchmarking and spend analyses.
  8. Assist management with the annual budgeting process for specific projects.
  9. Monitor and analyze the financial performance of investments.
  10. Prepare periodic valuations of individual CRE assets and compile portfolio level financial roll-ups and performance metrics for both internal and external reporting.
  11. Review of partner business plans, third party reports, title/survey, historical financial statements, leases, vendor contracts, and market research.
  12. Complete special projects as requested by senior management.
  Secondary Responsibilities:
  1. Potential travel of 10-20% to assist with site assessment for acquisitions.
  2. Interaction with our fund and equity partners.
  Job Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor s degree in real estate, finance, economics or related field.
  2. Master s degree in advanced study.
  3. Minimum of 5 years experience modeling complex real estate transactions.
  4. Strong financial/analytical, strategic thinking, organization, time management, client relationship and project management skills.
  5. Superior Excel and financial modeling software skills.
  6. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  7. Self-motivator with the ability to show initiative in taking action and responding appropriately.
  8. Ability to deliver accurate and thorough work product within the required time frame.
  9. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
