SUMMARY
We're looking for a Data Architect to lead us through the data transformation for our labor analytics application. Built on a highly visual intuitive user interface, our Global Labor View Application synthesizes labor and market intelligence in real-time and delivers a data-led starting point for making informed portfolio strategy, workforce optimization and location planning decisions.
The data transformation will build a microservices architecture providing data as a service. The data architect role will grow to eventually take leadership for all data across multiple applications. The team you would join is based in Richardson, TX.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the systems architect, business stakeholders, product manager and a 5-9-person team to develop, maintain, and upgrade full-stack client-facing web applications according to our product roadmap.
Primary responsibility oversight and design of data architecture.
Obtain and maintain familiarity with CBRE Labor analytics application to contribute ad-hoc support and bug fixes.
Create and maintain data artifacts and contribute to the maturation of DevOps processes.
Environments: .NET Core and .Net Framework using C#, Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, TFS/VSTS, Azure PaaS
Technologies: T-SQL, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Web API, XML, JSON, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Angular 4, Message Queues
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 7+ years of relevant work experience.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Azure SQL/Postgress/Cosmos DB or similar, Azure Data Factory, Structured Query Language / T-SQL, Database design, Machine Learning, Data Storage and Analyics, Data Governance, Data Scalability and Redundancy, Cloud native development. Geospatial techniques a plus
