Plarform Strategy & Capital Markets Associate/Director

Company is seeking to hire a Strategy and Capital Markets Associate/Sr Associate/Director in its Miami or New York Office. The Platform is an institutionally backed real estate lender focused on providing short and long-term credit solutions to SFR and Multifamily sponsors throughout the US. The primary objective of the role is to effectively communicate the Company's strategy and growth to investors, including financial performance, capital markets activity, M&A and recent events. 

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate strategy and finance, investment banking with a focus on mortgage/specialty finance/Fintech lending
• Four-Year bachelor’s degree with a Major in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related
• Strong ability to synthesize and convey strategic and financial messages in written materials and through PowerPoint 
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts
• Comfortable with mortgage/specialty finance company valuation and performance metrics
• Charismatic communicator and passionate relationship builder

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing annual company strategy and lay it out in presentable format
• Lead the production of month, quarterly and annual performance deliverables
• Maintain and update company corporate model
• Liaise with Capital Markets and trading teams to synthesise loan production data
• Liaise with Accounting team to summarize monthly, quarterly, annual and historical financial performance
• Assist in managing investor and capital market participant requests as appropriate
• Inform executive management team on financial trends
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
