Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess performance of the assets relative to original underwriting strategies or business plans, competitors, and market conditions
- Complete value-add investment strategy by working with third party contractors, leasing brokers, and property specialists
- Direct in-house property management team to implement asset management strategy
- Create and update cash flow and/or valuation models
- Review and evaluate monthly / quarterly operating performance (Rent Rolls, Operating Statements, Collections)
- Oversee the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
- Participate in the development of annual property budgets
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 4+ years of working experience in Real Estate Asset Management
- Undergraduate degree required
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience with Argus preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to adapt to and manage frequently changing priorities
- Ability to work cooperatively as a key member of a small, collaborative team
- A decisive and detail-oriented approach to the business coupled with an ability to assume a long-term owner’s perspective
- Ability to gain the respect and cooperation of internal and external constituencies across a wide variety of disciplines, and to coordinate their efforts as necessary
