The Department of Real Estate at DePaul University builds on more than 100 years of real estate education experience. DePaul offered its first real estate class in 1913 and, since 1975, has offered real estate courses at the MBA-level. Today, DePaul offers the most comprehensive array of real estate courses available in Chicago at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The program is located on the university's Loop Campus, in the heart of Chicago's civic, business and legal communities. DePaul's academic programs in real estate are fully accredited and offer a solid foundation of course offerings, including real estate analysis, valuation, finance and investments. Real estate majors can reach across academic boundaries to gain a practical, interdisciplinary education. Students may take courses in finance, economics, public policy, geography, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, sociology and law.

With a Real Estate Bachelor of Science in Business, the undergraduate division of the Department of Real Estate provides a curriculum which enables all students in the Driehaus College of Business to work and excel in the real estate community at the local and national levels, and to adapt to future changes in the industry.

With the combined Bachelor's Degree/MS in Real Estate, you can save time and tuition dollars by enrolling in the combined bachelor's degree / Master of Science in Real Estate program. This accelerated dual degree program is available to DePaul undergraduate students regardless of their college of study or major.

In the Master of Science (MS) in Real Estate program, you will learn concepts and practices in real estate investment analysis and finance through a multidisciplinary curriculum that incorporates courses in real estate, marketing, law, public policy, geography and economics. Whether you are a professional in real estate field looking to further your knowledge and skills in this industry, or are seeking a transition to the real estate field from another area, this degree will provide you with a strong foundation to prepare you for real estate industry leadership. The MS in Real Estate program is designed for the student who has a bachelor's degree, or who is has earned or is earning an MBA.

DePaul's MBA concentration in Real Estate Finance and Investment is a multidisciplinary program that will prepare you for leadership roles in the rapidly changing world of global real estate finance and investment. Through a combination of management, marketing, finance and investment courses, you will acquire the skills necessary to navigate this diverse industry. You will gain proficiency in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, urban planning, financing and operations."
