The Professionals’ Choice for Real Estate Jobs

Data Bust

SelectLeaders used to discuss what our clients want most, how to improve customer service, how to help people find the perfect job, but for months now all we discuss is data. This week the truth came out. Our technology to analyze data is light years ahead of our ability to determine and extract the exact data to analyze. Facebook overestimating by up to 80% the average time people spent watching video ads shocked the media world. But the inaccuracies we are seeing in attempts to analyze hiring, at least at the professional level, makes an 80% inaccuracy seem almost the norm. Eventually as we all give up more and more privacy, the perfect data probably will be available. The Nielson ratings on the debate this week reported 84 million. Our Intern told us his parents in Singapore watched it and Nielson does not track streaming and online, and all the millennials at “Meetups” in bars across the nation. From Bernie Sanders to Hillary to Trump, this election has proved one thing for certain marketing and sales are still an art not a science.
