Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting across multiple asset classes and loan types: construction, loan, bridge etc.
- Assist with debt procurement and closings, including analyzing term sheets, reviewing settlement statements, and assembling necessary financing requests and closing documents.
- Assist in the structuring and execution of real estate debt and equity transactions, including bridge, construction, mezzanine, preferred equity, and JV equity.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and waterfall structures.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, property-level due diligence, and macroeconomic analysis to support investment theses.
- Prepare offering memoranda, pitch decks, investment committee materials, and transaction marketing materials.
- Maintain relationships with a broad network of capital providers, including banks, debt funds, life companies, and equity investors.
- Support senior team members in client management, transaction tracking, and business development activities.
- Participate in internal discussions around deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and market positioning.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate investment banking, capital markets, private equity, debt brokerage, or related fields.
- Financial modeling and underwriting experience. Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or CFA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with CoStar, or other real estate analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial structures and capital stack components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create and present client-ready materials.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:
- Competitive base salary starting at $115,000 and performance-based bonus, commensurate with experience.
