The Professionals’ Choice for Real Estate Jobs

Men without Work

In 2015, U.S. males, ages 25 to 54, had the lowest labor force participation rate of all comparable countries such as France, Germany, Canada and the UK. According to the US Labor Department, 3 million American men in their prime working years, age 25 to 54, want to be employed, but have stopped looking for work. Even more concerning, women are no longer picking up the slack. Between 1960 and 2008 nearly 40 million women entered the full-time workforce, but since then the number of women entering the workforce remains flat. Why can’t we solve this problem? According to the 2012 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development study, Germany spent 7 times more on job creation than the U.S. In fact, except for Mexico, the U.S. spends the second lowest on job creation of any country. Infrastructure/construction jobs can get the ball rolling but soon end. America needs to commit to real job creation.
