Position Overview:         
CapRidge Partners is seeking a qualified Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our expanding team in our Austin office. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail oriented critical thinker with the ability to multi-task and thrive in an ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.  

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Acquisitions and Asset Management team, to monitor and manage existing investments, including interaction with lenders, investor relations, accounting, property management, construction, capital markets advisors and leasing teams
• Assist the team in acquisitions, dispositions and asset management related functions of all kinds
• Prepare and deliver high quality work product in an accurate, complete and timely manner. Analyses will be thorough, well supported, and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the commercial real estate business.
• Perform detailed financial analysis/modeling, including lease analysis, loan analytics, acquisition modeling, asset valuations, cost/benefit analysis and ROI calculations. The ability to create dynamic models in Excel to address complicated investment and capital structures is critical.
• Prepare and maintain asset management reports and the consolidation and review of operating budgets and variance analysis on both property and portfolio levels
• Conduct market and submarket analysis and report on rents, competition demographics, and supply/demand drivers.  Perform analyses in Argus Enterprise to assist with investment decisions.
• Assist in preparation of quarterly investor reports and the weekly acquisitions pipeline
• Some travel will be required

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • A minimum of 1 prior commercial real estate internship
  • Argus Enterprise experience or certification
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related field
• Demonstrated track record of academic success, extracurricular involvement and leadership
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, follow-through and accountability for results
• Willingness to learn and take on any new task or challenge while maintaining flexibility
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and balance changing priorities with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
