Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst

FCP is a leading real estate investment company that has invested in or financed more than $6 billion in assets since its founding in 1999. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Washington, DC team.  This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing real estate private equity firm directly after completing undergraduate school.

YOUR IMPACT:

As a Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst, you will support our clients and investment decisions by:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, operating budgets, rent rolls, and capital expenditure budgets
• Researching and evaluating economic, demographic and detailed real estate market data
• Conducting property site inspections and market tours (some travel may be required)
• Creating financial analyses, including cash flow projections and investment return calculations
• Creating memos for presentation to senior acquisitions and/or asset management personnel
• Coordinating/managing due diligence review and closing process
• Assisting with arranging and closing debt financing
• Presenting property performance to the entire firm quarterly

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials
• Strong preference for candidates with internship experience and/or majors in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics or Accounting
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
• A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
