Core Responsibilities of the Underwriter
Increase your knowledge and get more involved in the beatification of historic landmarks while working with a 

• Identifying investment risk and potential mitigants
• Reviewing reports completed by third parties, including but not limited to appraisal, physical condition assessments, environmental, and zoning
• Recognizing strengths and weaknesses within a transaction
• Evaluating borrower/sponsor credit worthiness by analyzing financial statements, Real Estate portfolio schedules, credit reports
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive due diligence summary packages to credit committee
• Manage internal/external conflict resolution throughout the underwriting and closing process
• Review of environmental reports and appraisals
• Working with legal counsel on Real Estate closings
• Verifying and stressing developers’ financial models
• Preparing for closings by reviewing the due diligence that’s been received for the transaction and ensure you have everything need for closing
