Real estate analyst

Button Capital Limited ( Button ) is a real estate investment management company founded in 2013. The company s mission is to partner with local operators to source, acquire and manage-to-exit value-add and opportunistic real estate transactions. Button s partners spent their careers across the globe, bringing in a wealth of experience in transaction underwriting, structuring and asset management. Button s investors include family offices, endowments and professional investors across Asia and the United States.   The Company s main focus has been in the value-add multifamily investments in the US, although it is also invested in development and preferred equity / mezzanine debt transactions in the US, as well as master lease projects in China.   Button is seeking an analyst, whose job responsibilities shall include:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial and operating reports by property managers, including bank statements, rent rolls, leasing reports and capital budgets, and recommending courses of action to optimize performance
• Evaluating new investment opportunities with Button s core investment team.
• Participating and presenting in asset management and investment pipeline meetings
• Preparing relevant and informative quarterly asset reports for investors
• Working with brokers and appraisers to update property valuations
• Conducting market research and analysis, liasing with brokers and analysts to understand sales and market comps as well as supply/demand trends
• Performing site visits, market/property tours and conducting meetings with local operating partners and property managers
• Monitoring of operating and construction budgets and approving draw requests

  Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum Bachelors degree and 2 years of working experience in the following real estate, private equity, finance/accounting
• Thorough understanding of the property investment process, from underwriting, financing and acquisition, asset management and disposition
• Detail-oriented, organized, reliable and able to work independently without supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with integrity
• Strong computer and excel modelling skills

Ability to travel and occasionally work evening and weekend hours if needed
