Description
The purpose of this position is to coordinate records research and retention for Zoning Department projects. Oversight and management of project documentation and coordinating documentation revisions and distributions.
Prepare letters, records of communication, and maintain data logs related to Zoning Department projects.
Communicate with various municipalities and conduct research and analyze results.
Coordinate schedule with Zoning Department and other administrative tasks as necessary.
Conducts phone interviews with building service company personnel to ascertain details of building's development and conformance status. Interacts with various federal, state and local agencies and assist others in research and writing portions of reports.
Interviews municipal agencies and other persons familiar with the subject property to gather information relevant to completion of Municipal Information Summary Report or client specific scope of work
Coordinates with team members on weekly assignments
Assists with management of project database
Independently researches municipal records, local, state and federal resources and files relevant to the subject property
Assists in preparation of municipal information summary reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large group of employees.
Ability to use and analyze GIS data
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
