CBRE|Heery is seeking an Architectural Co-Op for their Iowa City studio. This is a great opportunity for an Architectural Student to work with Senior Designers focused on Health Care projects. The Architectural Co-Op will be responsible for developing design or technical solutions under the supervision of an architect or designer.
Prepare 2D and 3D design materials.
Create imagery necessary for communicating content to clients.
Assist with conceptual building programming layouts.
Incorporate drawing red lines for reviews.
Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with material selection and system research.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
High school diploma and currently enrolled in a four or five year college or university architectural program.
Experience preferred but not required. Experience with Revit is preferred
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
