Building Services Manager

The City of Sacramento is seeking a Building Services Manager.  Under general direction, the Building Services Manager supervises, plans and coordinates the building operations and facility maintenance services within the City Hall Complex and grounds and other multi-use/multi-tenant facilities and grounds; coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, contractors, outside agencies; and provides highly responsible staff assistance to the Facilities Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Experience:
Three years of responsible experience performing a variety of operational, technical, administrative, and para-professional tasks associated with the maintenance, operations and management of building equipment, facilities and infrastructure, including one year of supervision.

Education:
Completion of 60 semester units from an accredited college or university with major coursework in engineering construction management, industrial management, industrial engineering, or a related field.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Driver License:
Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License at the time of appointment. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to physical disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Salary: $40.23 - $52.78 Hourly
            $6,972.78 - $9,148.89 Monthly
            $83,673.32 - $109,786.65 Annually
