Description


CIM’s Partner & Co-investor Relations and Product Management team seeks to provide support to our existing partners and co-investors, enhance their experience and develop new relationships with institutional investors around the world. The team is responsible for communicating CIM’s vision, track record and value proposition for all its strategies (opportunistic, value-add, stabilized, infrastructure and debt) and through our various platforms (commingled funds, co-investments, separate accounts)

POSITION PURPOSE: 

Oversee one or more product strategies to effectively drive coordination among internal teams to increase competitiveness in sourcing new capital and acquisition opportunities and serve as the lead client-facing product specialist for fundraising initiatives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

The incumbent will be tasked with managing a workload which includes both individual responsibilities and collaborative assignments focused on the following areas: 

  • Product Development – strategically structure and manage CIM products:
    • Negotiate LPA’s and Side Letters with prospective investors
    • Understand, ensure compliance with and communicate relevant legal / regulatory requirements outlined in PPM’s, LPA’s and Side Letters 
    • Lead market research programs for potential product lines and their client base 
    • Develop presentations and other associated materials to support marketing and due diligence efforts (Flipbook, DDQ, Case Studies, etc.)
    • Lead and participate in internal education programs to develop product knowledge with internal stakeholders and others in client-facing roles
  • Portfolio Oversight – be the subject matter expert on the product strategy and underlying assets within the assigned product line including:
    • Existing and projected go-forward performance
    • Portfolio concentrations
    • Acquisition pipeline
    • Co-investment opportunities
    • Client reporting (Quarterly Letter, Update Book) 
  • Client Service & Due Diligence
    • Fundraising / Diligence meetings – attend and participate in all necessary due diligence and fundraising meetings, acting as subject matter expert where relevant
    • Existing Client Updates – attend and participate in all necessary update meetings and calls with existing clients to articulate progress across the portfolio
    • Fluency (verbal and written) in English, Spanish is preferred

                                                                               
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
