Position Title: Associate, Capital Markets
Reports To: Managing Director, Capital Markets & Investor Relations
Position Summary: The associate will join a small, dedicated capital markets team responsible for communicating with, and raising capital from, institutional investors globally across the Realterm family of funds. These investors may include public and corporate pension plans, endowments and foundations, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and family offices, among others. The position will also support the office of the CFO as it relates to investor reporting, fund performance calculations, debt financings, and leverage strategy.
Position Duties:
- Engage in extensive financial modeling
- Prepare fund marketing materials and internal investment committee packages
- Coordinate and execute investor due diligence requests
- Serve as touch point for other investor relations activities
- Coordinate with fund managers on debt strategy and hold/sell/finance analysis at the asset and portfolio level
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity
- Real estate industry knowledge preferred
- Experience working with Argus preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Extensive Excel and PowerPoint work
- Self-starter and multitasker who thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced, entrepreneurial workplace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (ability to communicate complicated concepts through memo/email, conversation, Excel model and PowerPoint presentation)
- Adherence to company policies and operating procedures
