Job Description
We currently have a great opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our Real Estate team in Englewood, Colorado. Consolidated Investment Group, LLC. a premier Multi-Family Real Estate investment management company with an extraordinary record of success and a reputation for collaboration and partnership; a depth of knowledge and experience; and a history of finding opportunities.
The successful candidate will lead ground-up development/construction projects, working with General Contractors, Other Trades and Consultants. They must be experienced in reading and understanding all construction documents including construction drawings, be able to recognize opportunities to value engineer. This key position will provide management, guidance, and due diligence on a wide variety of development projects. The ideal candidate will work with the Real Estate team in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of projects, meeting deadlines and objectives.
The Multi-Family Construction Manager should be able to work well independently, possess strong communication skills, be a creative problem solver, project a positive and motivating attitude, and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and planning software such as Procore. Experience with estimating and managing apartment renovations, is preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
- 5+ years of experience; multi-family
- Understanding of building systems, design, construction, and related management strategies
- Experience managing $20+ million in multi-family (garden and podium) ground-up project experience – infinity, prescient, or other modular construction method is a plus.
- Project Management Experience in multi-family including pre-development through construction completion.
- Experience in bidding, interviewing, and contracting with architects, engineers and other design and testing consultants.
- This position may travel up to 40%.
