Role Overview:
The Procurement Manager will bring experience from property management, facilities, and/or a build/construction background and has demonstrated experience coordinating a lot of moving pieces. This position will be the go-to on supply purchases, inventory control, materials management, and other related duties. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders. Develops and maintains new relationships with vendors, customers, project teams, distributors and others to get the job done.

Specific Responsibilities:

    • The Procurement Manager is responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses in the delivery of real estate, facilities, and project management services.
    • Responsible for designing and implementing sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support company and client strategies and objectives.
    • Draft, review, negotiate and maintain contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders in establishing, creating and managing RFQ, RFP execution including ensuring accuracy of cost models and business financial projections.
    • Actively develop and lead cost mitigation and avoidance strategies.
    • Strategic supplier management, responsible to negotiate costs and supplier terms, lead times, rebates and discounts.
    • Set strategies related to vendor assessments and purchasing terms and conditions.
    • Manage various projects and project schedules, ensuring key milestones and updates are being communicated to stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain various reports to track shipments and vendor yield output.
    • Design, develop and implement purchasing systems.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiating terms.
    • Strong management and leadership skills
    • Able to manage and prioritize tasks in a high volume fast-paced environment
    • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles as well as analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Excellent communication skills spoken as well as written with the ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
    • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, facilities management and or property management.

Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
    • Purchasing software
    • Inventory Management

    • Successful completion of a background screening
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination required
