Ascent Equity Group is looking for an experienced and ambitious Marketing Director to join our team. The Marketing Director will oversee all execution of marketing initiatives including advertising, campaigns, visuals, and partnerships.

We help doctors and other professionals live the life they want by investing in passive real estate. We do this by buying value-add multifamily and currently have $250 million in assets under management. We are growing 200%+ year-on-year and are looking for help to get to the next level.


Title: Director of Marketing

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: Flexible (We focus on output, not input)

Compensation: Based on experience


RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. MARKETING CALENDAR – Develop, manage, and execute our marketing calendar

  2. METRICS & DATA ANALYSIS - You’ll be responsible for creating that process and monitoring our marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis so that we can optimize our initiatives and get even better return on investment (ROI)/return on ad spend (ROAS).

  1. SOCIAL MEDIA AND  PAID AD STRATEGY - Coming up with a coherent and data-centric paid ad strategy

  2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT – For each of your projects, work with our project manager to create a project timeline/work back plan with plenty of runway. Update the project manager to keep the timeline updated throughout the process, taking note of dependencies, and ensuring all deadlines are met. This will be a big impact opportunity, as our current marketing project runways are far too short!

  3. FUNNEL BUILD MANAGEMENT – For many of our marketing initiatives, we’ll be building a new sales funnel using ActiveCampaign. You’ll be responsible for managing all of the moving pieces: helping craft the Hook, Story, and Offer in partnership with the founders, and our Copywriter to gather all page content, and briefing and managing our third-party funnel-building team to create and test each funnel and follow up campaign, including all integrations.

  4. EVENT MARKETING – Develop, manage, and execute promotional plans for the various events that we attend throughout the year including live events (2-3 per year), online summits (2-3 per year), and webinars.

  5. CONTENT MANAGEMENT – Work with the team to create a content strategy, and project management to develop content processes for each of your projects. This includes working with our internal Virtual Assistant to create and implement a speaker management process where applicable – you collectively create the process, and the VA will execute, while you ensure things stay on track and that the submitted content is top-notch.

  6. CREATIVE MANAGEMENT – Work with our Graphic Designer to put in creative requests and manage revisions and approvals for each of your projects.

  7. SWAG/GIFTING/DIRECT MAIL MANAGEMENT – Work with our swag vendor to produce memorable swag/direct mail sends for your projects, where applicable. Ex. Sending a VIP swag kit to our online summit attendees, sending holiday gifts to our high-value investors, etc.

  8. BRAND POLICE – Keep an eye on all of the content we are putting out across all platforms and ensure the brand’s visual identity and messaging are always elevated and consistent. Ex. Our visual identity could be improved on social media – we’d love your help taking this on as a quick-win project.

  9. MARKET RESEARCH & NEW INITIATIVES – Monitor what strategies are working for other coaching and investment businesses, find ways to model those strategies, bring these ideas to Hunter for his review and approval, and execute.
