OVERVIEW

The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Facilities Management Administrator for the Facilities Services office.  

The Facilities Management Administrator is responsible for the administration of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program statewide. The incumbent will conduct comprehensive on-site facilities review and evaluation to ensure facilities preventative maintenance, and asset preservation goals are fulfilling contractural obligations. The Facilities Management Administrator will be responsible for coordinating with staff and service providers to ensure that preventive maintenance is conducted in a timely manner to meet contract and industry quality standards and prolong life of equipment and assets. Conduct on-site facilities review and evaluation of Service Provider performance.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in the San Francisco or Sacramento office. Hybrid work schedule (in-house/remote) for 2022.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares status reports, maintains records, and updates facilities information systems statewide:
    • Attach preventive maintenance documents to the PM Builder.
    • Create and maintain Service Plan for preventative maintenance schedule.
    • Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedule.
    • Create and maintain Work Procedures.
    • Create and maintain Work Task Template.
  • Conduct on-site facilities review statewide;
    • Audit completed service provider preventative maintenance tasks to ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations.
    • Verification that equipment is asset tagged and information is correct in facilities information systems.
    • Support field staff while performing site inspections in response to customer concerns, to identify needed repairs for preventative maintenance deficiencies.
    • Ensure contractor compliance with quality assurance standards and/or construction/repair project specifications.
  • Administration of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program statewide:
    • Maintain contractual preventative maintenance pricing workbook.
    • Verify service provider contract deliverables statewide on a yearly basis.
    • Participates in the development and maintenance of preventative maintenance budgets.
  • Support Engineering Specialist, Field Staff and Environmental Health and Safety unit with regulatory compliance obligations statewide:
    • Verify regulatory compliance deadlines are met.
    • Verify with local authority obligations are being met and collaborate with other units as needed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree, and two (2) years of building structure/systems management, facilities maintenance, project management and budgeting/cost analysis experience. An additional four years of professional experience in the assigned function as noted above may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. Or, additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

 

OR

 

Two years as an Associate Facilities Analyst with the Judicial Council of California or two years of experience performing the duties of a class comparable in the level of responsibility to that of an Associate Facilities Analyst in a California Superior Court or California state-level government entity.

 

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION

  • Valid driver’s license, as assigned.

PAYMENT & BENEFITS

$6,346.00 - $9,520.00 per month

(Starting salary will be $6,346.00 per month)
