JOB SUMMARY

The CBRE University Learning Operations Director will play a key role in ensuring that these specialized learning processes are developed and delivered in ways that will help advance the careers of our people and the quality we provide to the marketplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The CBRE University Learning Operations Director (LOD) is an active member of the CBRE University Leadership Team, coordinating all learning operations with the mission of supporting the business segments' learning requirements. This role is responsible to:

Create the operational standards for delivering high quality CBRE University curricula (both virtual live and in-person events)

Establish a post-development operations playbook that aligns with the standards and processes for learning delivery design, includes a program facilitation and facilitator training, scheduling across all proposed program requirements, materials creation, communications plans, etc.

Manage various internal and external resources as "outsourcing partners" providing various services CBRE has not yet built within the L&D organization

Coordinate and direct members of the CBRE University team responsible for the scheduling and execution of all events

Ensure that the scheduling is coordinated and managed relative to the criteria established by CBRE University leadership

Coordinate with the learning business partners, the CoE, the events team and the appropriate vendors necessary to ensure an end-to-end learner experience that is world class

Utilize the measurements and results of performance data to ensure achievement of defined KPI's and ROI's from an operational perspective

Employ continual process improvement methodologies to ensure a high level of excellence

Coordinate with procurement on venue and site selection for events including all details of each event

Work on-site at events (live or virtual live) to oversee operations as necessary.

Performs other duties as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The LOD will report to the VP of Global Learning & Development and their managerial/leadership responsibilities will include:

Engage with the CBRE University leadership team to advise on best practices and support business initiatives

Engage with the CBRE University academy leadership to advice on execution options for various programs

Oversee and guide several team members within the CBRE U and the Learning CoE team

Develop effective relationships with D&T, People, communications, marketing and other resources critical to the effective operation of CBRE L&D

Budget creation and management responsibilities

Provide regular reporting and accountability on KPI's and ROI

This role requires the ability to influence without direct reporting authority and lead teams to achieve excellence through that ability to influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in Business, Hospitality, Events or related field or comparable combination of education and experience.

Must have at least 5 to 7 years' experience designing and leading an innovative Learning Delivery, Talent Experience, People Experience function.

Minimum of 5 years of full lifecycle learning & development, learning delivery or related experience required.

Familiarity with learning technologies including technology-enabled virtual delivery systems is highly desired.

Program management experience a plus.

Must have deep customer experience understanding and dedication.

Bias to action and a desire to iterate and improve.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced reasoning and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's learning management systems.

Must work well under pressure with proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the L&D Operations and Experience Director position is $160,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the L&D Operations and Experience Director position is $180,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
