WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Nike North America Direct team seeks a Senior Lease Acquisition Manager who will be instrumental in assisting with the execution of our real estate strategy for Nike stores in the United States and Canada!

We need an individual will provide real estate operational excellence and consistency by providing expertise such as tools, communication and processes vital for the business to grow and expand into new and existing markets and improve profitability.

You will focus on strategic market reviews through market mapping, pro forma modeling, market optimization by partnering with wholesale, strategic planning and finance and business teams.

You will report directly to Director of Real Estate, and, work closely with the entire Real Estate and Store Construction team. You will be the go-to person on center/street sales, supporting sales indexing, co-tenancy comparisons and site evaluation! You will ensure any analysis requirements or ongoing responsibilities are handled in a timely manner and effectively communicated to key stakeholders.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

We seek an individual to do the following:

  • Analyze, review and update financial modeling for retail stores
  • Evaluate wholesale sensitivities and sales cannibalization in partnership with finance, letter of intent negotiations, pipeline management and strategic portfolio management
  • Develop marketplace strategies for new store rollouts and existing fleet expansion.
  • Identify target sites in high potential locations.
  • Build a robust deal flow and new store pipeline
  • Review and approve deal economics against market comparables and internal financial models
  • Negotiate and finalize letters of intent, lease agreements, amendments, renewals, expansions, closures and related documents
  • Present investment opportunities in front of senior leaders, as well as the Real Estate Committee
  • Develop, lead and drive broker relationships

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

This individual will collaborate with several partners including Global Real Estate, Finance, Legal, Retail Operations and Human Resources.


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or closely related field, and 3-5 years' relevant work experience in real estate management and deal making preferably in retail; preferred to have 5-10 years of experience
  • Post graduate degree is preferred
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company or navigating a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective and influential deal driver with excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models
  • Validated experience in optimally working with senior leadership
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, work autonomously, be results-oriented and work within a team.
