Analyst-Asset Management

Arch Street Capital Advisors, L.L.C., a Manhattan based real estate investment and advisory firm, is seeking an Analyst to support its continued growth, and work closely with their Asset Management team that currently oversees more than $2B of institutional real estate investments and joint venture partnerships. 

Key responsibilities include:

• • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements from property managers and operating partners to equity investors and lenders
  • Track ongoing property level activity, and report on investment performance, financial variances, and significant changes in market and property conditions
  • Assist Asset Managers with preparing annual operating and capital budgets
  • Analyze and monitor capital improvements and renovation programs, and coordinate with lenders and capital partners on funding requests and progress reporting
  • Assist with obtaining institutional investor/lender approvals
  • Interface with Asset Managers and Accounting to facilitate cash flow management of investments to optimize investor yield within the confines of highly structured tax designed transactions
  • Communicate with third-party service providers including property managers, appraisers, insurers, tax consultants, and various vendors.
  • Support asset-management-related due diligence during the underwriting process with regards to Loan, Joint Venture and Property Management Agreements, and assist in the coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of assets into the firm’s portfolio
  • Commission and review annual property appraisals
  • Maintain key dates and milestones as set forth in leases and loan documents
  • Research value add strategies and ideas, and assist in facilitating approved initiatives
  • Maintain asset management technology platform and measure property and investment performance on a regular basis

Experience:

The candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant work experience (real estate, investment management, financial insurance or accounting experience is preferred)
