The team is comprised of general accounting, technical accounting, SEC reporting, treasury, tax, and internal audit.
  • Acquisitions is responsible for the origination, negotiation, and documentation of new property acquisitions. Responsibilities include assisting with the initial underwriting involving financial analysis/modeling, assessing site-level property performance, the review of lease documents and engineering and environmental reports. The team also collects market data as it relates to new property sites and develops and manages new brokerage/developer/private equity relationships for BNL.
  • Asset Management focuses on portfolio oversight and a wide array of real estate matters. Responsibilities include acquisition underwriting, dispositions, leasing, industry research, portfolio review, and modeling/tracking of tenants.
  • Corporate Finance & Investor Relations is responsible for understanding and communicating the key drivers of performance and how they translate into operating results and correspondingly create shareholder value. The team is tasked with providing senior management and the Board of Directors the appropriate information and analysis to better inform near and long-term strategic decision making. In addition, the Corporate Finance team assists in building organizational awareness of corporate strategy and each department’s role in achieving it. The Investor Relations team is responsible for explaining BNL’s historical performance, vision, and strategy to all external stakeholders in a clear and consistent fashion.

The largest part of the department, Information Systems & Solutions, addresses BNL’s hardware, software, data, infrastructure, security, project management and general IT needs via an optimized mix of internal and third-party resources.
  • Property Management is primarily responsible for tenant relations and individual asset protection starting prior to the purchase and continuing through to disposition of the property.  During the acquisition process, the PM team completes due diligence review of leases and all property related reports and contributes to projecting costs and level of management of each asset.  Throughout BNL’s ownership of the property, PM team members serve as the primary contact for tenants with a strong focus on long-term relationship building.  As such, the Property Management team manages all issues affecting the lease and all issues affecting the physical property.
