We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level full-time Real Estate Analyst to join our team.
The position will take place in person in Secaucus, NJ. The analyst will have some relevant coursework/professional experience (0-2 years). The role will provide an opportunity to work closely with the acquisition and development team to help manage the fund’s existing pipeline of development projects and source opportunities in existing/new markets. This opportunity provides an Analyst a leading role assisting in asset analysis, market research, operational compliance, and asset management. The selected candidate will be immersed in all aspects of residential real estate investment, specifically in the multi-family sector. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Analyst will partake in a small team responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for new acquisitions
- Provide economic and real estate market research in support of investment decisions and strategy expansion
- Analyzing and underwriting real estate transactions (residential, retail, development, etc.)
- Assemble a compilation of market data and sales information for meetings, quarterly reports, presentations, and offering memorandums
- Outline property valuations and BOVs as required
- Support writing proposals, presentations, and investment memorandums
Requirements, Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelors degree (preferably Business related- Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Architecture, etc.)
- 0-2 years of experience working in commercial real estate and/or relevant coursework
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, due date driven group environment
- Reliable, adaptable, ability to adjust in a dynamic work environment
- Have a solid consideration to detail and preparedness to retain information rapidly
