Job Description

At CoStar Group, our finance group centralizes transaction processes, providing accurate reporting, financial resolutions, and proper forecasting analysis. Joining the team offers access to financial specializations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and asset management, client contracts and billing, and revenue recognition.

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Collections Analyst to join our team in our Washington D.C locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through pro-active communication with clients and the sales team
  • Drive high customer satisfaction and retention levels through relationship building, professional and courteous communication
  • Become proficient in understanding of company A/R-Collection's life cycle within a 6-month time frame
  • Escalate slow or non-pay situations at 60-days resulting in development of alternative payment methods or payment plans


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS degree required with 4 years of consumer and/or commercial collection experience
  • Able to work within time deadlines by prioritizing workload and understanding the priority business outcomes
  • Strong EXCEL skills required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required


PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Preference for 1 to 4 years of related customer service experience
  • Great Plains Collections experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver expectations in a timely manner
  • Ability to work across multiple departments
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and flexible, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
