Senior Analyst, Asset Management


DoveHill Capital Management (“DoveHill”) is seeking an Senior Asset Management Associate to support its rapid growth across various hospitality-focused investment platforms centered around lifestyle and experiential full service properties.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst  will be responsible for managing all aspects of asset management including , but not limited to, underwriting, market analysis, cash flow forecasting, preparation of investor reporting, debt analysis,capital expenditure strategy, business plan execution, review of operational efficiencies and metrics and oversee performance of hospitality portfolio. 


The role will interface directly with a variety of groups within DoveHill  including Development, Acquisitions, and Operations. 


How you will contribute 

  • Support the  oversight, strategic management, valuations, and reporting of DoveHill’s real estate investments

  • Update and complete quarterly investor reports for all fund investors, containing commentary, financial snapshots and returns projections (including profit and IRR)

  • Maintain rollup financial models for each of DoveHill’s investments, ensuring the accuracy of all information, including historical and projected asset cash flows, investor contributions/distributions and fund level expenses

  • Continually improve financial models as well as processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality

  • Proactively highlight and communicate fund and asset-specific issues and opportunities

  • Support the Fund administrator

  • Focus on in-house repositionings and value add projects

  • Lender reporting and ensuring compliance with loan covenants and other partnership requirements

  • Implementation of reporting best practices, performance benchmarking and KPIs

Who you are

DoveHill  is seeking a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working on a small team in a high energy, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment.  The ideal candidate will have experience with hospitality acquisitions with a focus on branded full service, lifestyle and expertintial assets . This role also requires the following capabilities:


  • 2-3+ years of experience in direct hospitality or real estate asset management

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Hotel operational background and experience - particularly full service hospitality with significant food and beverage

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Entrepreneurial minded and thrives in small team

  • Strong ability to effectively present information

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to draw conclusions from research and data analysis and communicate them effectively

  • Highly motivated, organized, disciplined and self-directed individual who is eager to learn, deals well with uncertainty at times, and is able to multi-task efficiently

  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and professions and foster working relationships with all members of the team and outside parties

  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic driven by a desire for quality

  • Ability to work and coordinate against firm deadlines

  • Ability to work flexible or extended hours (including possibly on weekends) to accommodate increased workload/projects

  • Ability to assist in the preparation of  investment presentations

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint / Apple Keynote skills and presentation-making experience
