Job Description:
- Assumes overall responsibility for the management of A-Class buildings.
- Sets expectations for the day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
- Analyzes and interprets current market/economic trends and implements short-term and long-term strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Conducts monthly inspections of the properties and takes appropriate actions to ensure that the property meets established standards.
- Supports the team in obtaining bids for repairs. Generates and track service orders, approvals, and distribution.
- Assists corporate accounting with questions related to the properties and resolution of vendor issues.
- Ensures that property files are kept up-to-date in accordance with company policy.
- Develops and mentors Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers and Coordinators to ensure growth and preparedness for succession planning.
- Identifies, presents, and executes capital expenditures at buildings within the portfolio.
- Reviews and oversees the annual budgeting and reforecasting process for assigned buildings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ Years of Commercial Property Management Experience.
- Experience with leasing & tenant management.
- Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate market.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Must be self-motivated, creative, and resourceful.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with guests, employees, city officials and other community leaders.
- Ability to travel around LA County and Orange County for site visits.
- Previous Yardi Experience, preferred.
