Who You Are
You will be performing financial analysis and other analytical work to support capital markets transaction. You will assist clients in developing comprehensive financial models, conducting research, performing analysis of leases, budgets, expenses, historical operating information, creating offering memorandum, broker opinion of values, and other proposals. As a dedicated member of the capital markets team, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from underwriting, marketing and due diligence, to supporting deal production.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area
• 2-5 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate, Finance, or related area
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience developing pro-formas from scratch and performing in-depth financial analysis
• Strong understanding of CRE valuation principles such as NPV, Income Capitalization, & IRR
• Experience with ARGUS modeling
Bonus skills and experience
• Preferred equity, joint venture, waterfall and other sophisticated analytical experience
• Knowledge of debt markets
What Success Looks Like
• You will optimize client’s real estate acquisition and disposition strategies by developing comprehensive financial models, conducting research, and performing analysis of leases, proposals, and within the Capital Markets space.
• You will design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flow for the Brokerage sales teams.
• You are passionate about providing exceptional service to your clients and you are able to do this through providing analytical tools and cost-effective analysis that can influence lease/ purchase decisions.
• You have excellent communication skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You are also comfortable providing support in client presentations, responses to RFP’s and new business pitches.
• You excel in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to deliver results to the highest accuracy in terms of financial analysis
