Who You Are

This position will primarily support the Senior Retail Advisor (SRA) with leasing and marketing on behalf of the firm’s Landlord Representation business line. The ideal candidate is an innovative, detail oriented, well organized individual who is extremely thorough and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on tight deadlines. This is an entry-mid level position at a top retail real estate company based in downtown DC. Compensation commensurate with experience.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists SRA with identifying prospective tenants and conducting outreach to further potential lease transactions
  • Assist SRA with preparing letters of intent, commission agreements, and other deal-related documentation
  • Engage in email and phone correspondence with existing and prospective clients and tenants and coordinate calls/meetings on behalf of the SRA and Principals
  • Enter, manage, and maintain transaction information in all databases, ensuring consistently accurate and current data
  • Edit and format client reports using Excel
  • Edit the content of marketing materials and assist with updating the company’s marketing platforms, including CoStar
  • Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and notable transactions in the market
  • Create internal efficiencies and improve upon existing systems
  • Work on Ad Hoc projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2-4+ years prior relevant work experience
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication
  • Highly organized and detail focused
  • Independent judgement to plan, prioritize and organize a diverse workload on deadline
  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
