LStar Ventures is a privately held real estate investment firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Founded in late 2007, LStar has earned its reputation as a careful steward of the properties it has acquired by focusing on creating communities that both attend to the needs of the residents and integrate with the surrounding areas. In addition to focusing on physical improvements to properties and improving the physical environment for current residents, LStar also emphasizes in its planning how a community interacts with the areas outside of the community. Since 2010, LStar has acquired, or controls, more than 50,000 lots and land for 25 million square feet of commercial development in 15 states and has no debt on any of its assets. The company has co-investment partnerships with some of the nation's leading financial institutions. We have commitments in many asset classes, including residential and commercial land, golf, senior housing and mixed-use. LStar Ventures' portfolio exceeds $1 billion in value.

We utilize our in-house asset management teams to maximize the value of our assets and to ensure our focus on excellence remains constant. Our in-house teams' expertise ranges from land planning, to engineering, to marketing, to land acquisition, to project management, to site development, to finance, to law. This in-house staff allows us to apply a consistent approach to all of our communities. It also allows us to consistently make decisions with integrity and in consideration of the impact on the local area and residents.
